Kiddos

Oliver-

Oliver is my 7 year old, who is one of those kids they say was sent to teach you a lesson. He is smarter than most adults I know, knows how to push our buttons like that scene in Elf on the elevator, but can be the sweetest most loving big brother, and can be pretty funny too. After a challenging start to his school career, last year in 1st grade he was diagnosed with ADHD along with ODD. Since then the pieces of the puzzle have come together and he is doing much better. He is into anything with a motor, building Legos, and again, pushing our buttons. More to come on his story, and reaching a diagnosis, and what we do that works.

Tegan-

Tegan is the three year old and whoever coined the phrase “terrible twos” clearly never met a “threenager”. Three makes two look like a walk in the park, a Sunday stroll, a float down a lazy river on a warm summer day. Three is not for the faint of heart. I am convinced her ears are on her head solely for decoration, her favorite pastime is making messes, and when she grows up she wants to be a witch. All joking aside, Tegan has accomplished a lot this year for being such a little kid. She was fully potty trained at 2.5, she went from her crib/ tent to a big girl bed, and she started school (pre-k), pretty impressive if you ask me. I’m hoping this year she will start riding more and start to be more independent with that.
